Member Responsibilities
As a member of this group you will have several defined responsibilities. First and foremost you will need to learn all music and choreography in a reasonable amount of time. You must also be able to function in a team atmosphere and respect your fellow students, parents, and staff. You must also commit to taking care of all equipment, instruments, uniforms, and props that are being used by the group.
You must be able to commit to Tuesday and Thursday rehearsals from mid November through mid April. Unless you are sick or arrangements have been made and approved, you are expected to be at rehearsals. In addition to the weekday rehearsals, we will also have approximately one Saturday rehearsal per month, plus the drum-a-thon. In addition, we will usually rehearse either the Friday evening or Saturday morning before events and then load the trailer. Non-attendance at any rehearsals may lead to not performing in the next event at the discretion of the staff.
You must be able to commit to paying your fees in a timely manner and to participate in all fundraisers. You will also need to keep your status in school at a level which will allow you to continue with CP. You will also need to commit to attending all performances as they appear on the schedule.
