Parental / Guardian Involvement
In order for the group to succeed we need to have involvement from the parents/guardians. The minimum involvement that we need is as follows. On three occasions the parents will be asked to send or bring in lettuce and one or two other items to use at the field day and spaghetti dinners. Parents are also asked to promote rehearsal attendance to students as well as practicing at home.
In addition, we need several parents to organize and monitor our various fundraisers and events. A full list will be available for sign up at the mandatory parent's meeting. In the past, parents have organized pot luck breakfasts, dinners and or lunches on event and or rehearsal days and have also brought in a couple of cases of water for the group to drink at rehearsals. In addition, we are always in need of parents to help with driving, prop and instrument maintenance and development, chaperoning, and floor crew. Please contact CMA to set up your involvement.
